Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Backend Developer to join our Telecom Research & Development team. In this role, you will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services for telecom applications and systems. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and R&D teams to build innovative solutions that drive advancements in telecom infrastructure, network performance, and communication technologies.
Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure backend systems for telecom applications.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues efficiently.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (including Frontend Developers, Data Engineers, and Telecom Experts) to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet project goals.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation for code, systems, and workflows.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Contribute to ongoing research efforts in emerging telecom technologies such as cloud infrastructure and network virtualization.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Java) and basic understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Exposure to cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems for managing codebase.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment and using Jira or similar project management tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent teamwork and mentoring abilities.
• Fluency in English.
