Our client is a global leader in financial market data, delivering high-quality software that connects financial markets worldwide through real-time, high-frequency, and low-latency data solutions.

This position is based in Bucharest, offered under an indefinite employment contract (CIM), and follows a hybrid work model with 2 days/week in the office.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain components for a real-time data distribution system.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and global teams to build world-class solutions.
• Ensure quality, security, and reliability in all deliverables.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, provide timely updates, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with minimal supervision.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge base for technical solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in C++ development on Linux.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Scripting experience (Python).
• TCP/Secure Socket Layer development experience
• Expertise in high-performance software and memory management.
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, Postgres).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and release strategies.
• Knowledge of automation and cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
