Where and how we work?
We currently have teams based in Malta, Lisbon (PT), Sofia (BG), London (UK) and Bucharest (RO). Our hybrid work model encourages regular in-person collaboration while also allowing flexibility to work remotely.
Long story short, you will
support and guide the team of Trading Assistants, keep daily workflows running smoothly, and step in when the team or customers need help. You will focuses on performance, quality, and continuous improvements. You’ll work closely with other Team Leads, the Risk and Trading Manager, and report directly to the Director of Operations to ensure everything runs seamlessly across the Sportsbook team.
All the responsibilities we will trust you with:

• Onboard new team members assigned as your direct reports.
• Provide training to the Trading Assistants and help drive the personal growth of your direct reports.
• Perform regular 1:1s, probation meetings and performance reviews with your direct reports.
• Logging performance related KPIs and feeding back to the leadership team on individual and team performance.
• Act as the primary source of escalation for team queries and customer queries.
• Take charge of internal and external communication and management of P1 and P2 incidents.
• Identify issues within the department and find suitable solutions.
• Consistently striving to improve all aspects of the management of the Trading/Ops department and becoming key contributors to the overall improvement of the company as a whole.
• Delegate daily duties and manage the workflow of the team.
• Quality assurance of our client sites and content.
• Deliver on agreed objectives and work set by the manager.
• Any other relevant duties assigned to you by your manager, related to the scope/purpose of the role.
  

Your areas of knowledge and expertise :

• Experience in sports trading, market operations, or a related field
• Team leadership or supervisory experience or skills
• Strong understanding of betting markets, trading workflows, and risk management
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle escalations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for mentoring and development
• Analytical mindset with focus on performance, QA, and continuous improvement
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, based on business needs
