The purpose of the Sr Business Analyst is:
We are looking for a Sr Business Analyst with deep payments domain knowledge to support the evolution and optimization of our omni‑commerce payment solutions. In this role, you will act as a key link between Product Management, Engineering, Data, and Commercial teams, ensuring that payment capabilities are optimized for performance, scalability, and customer outcomes.
You will focus on analyzing payment flows across channels, identifying optimization opportunities (authorization, routing, conversion, cost), and translating complex business and technical requirements into clear, actionable specifications.
A typical day at ACI for a Sr Business Analyst is:
Requirements & Solution Definition
- Gather, document, and validate business, functional, and non‑functional requirements for payment capabilities
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable outcomes
- Work closely with the global sales teams, product teams and engineers to define scalable, compliant payment solutions
- Support impact analysis for new payment methods, schemes, regulations, or regional expansions
Omni‑Commerce Enablement
- Ensure consistency and alignment of payment experiences across online, mobile, POS, and API‑driven channels
- Analyze cross‑channel dependencies, customer journeys, and operational impacts
- Support merchants’ omni‑commerce use cases
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a trusted partner to Product Managers, helping shape product roadmaps and priorities
- Collaborate with Engineering, UX, Operations, and Commercial teams to ensure shared understanding
- Support customer‑facing teams with product knowledge, documentation, and solution clarification
Compliance & Risk Awareness
- Incorporate regulatory, scheme, and compliance requirements (e.g., PCI DSS, PSD2, SCA) into analysis and requirements
- Understand fraud, risk, and dispute processes and their impact on payment optimization
Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed to succeed in this role:
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in payments, fintech, or commerce platforms
- Strong understanding of payment processing flows, including authorization, clearing, settlement, and reconciliation
- Experience with eCommerce and omni‑commerce environments
- Proven ability to work with complex systems and multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
