Your tasks

• Independently researches and analyzes finance discipline issues or assists more senior staff in the departments on highly complex key issues. Ensures an accurate and timely performing of all assigned tasks, respecting the principles and rules in place;
• Performes accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closing activities. Prepares monthly reporting packages as well as reporting of financial data based on specific requests e.g. ensures delivery of reports and documents required by internal and external audit;
• Ensures all process work is carried out according to internal procedures and regulations, accurately recorded and reported; measures and evaluates process improvements;
• Conducts end-to-end process analysis for implementation of new activities/business requirements;
• Prepares or contributes to the definition of guidelines related to the handled processes / activities within Finance organization;
• Supports the identification of potential risks in area of expertise of Borealis Business Services Finance and proposes respective solutions for risk mitigation;
• Coordinates and prepare internal activities related to Borealis Business Services Finance eficiency and performance mesurement and reporting (like KPIs, Activity index, etc);
• Discuss and align with the internal stakeholders the finance discipline topics concerding daily business, respectively correlate business processes with the accounting ones;
• Participates and contributes with expertise into relevant projects. Designs and delivers cross functional related Service Center finance activity and systems optimization solutions according to changes in business requirements, processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures.
  

Your profile

• Master Diploma: Finance;
• Relevant professional experience: more than 7 years;
• Very good knowledge of finance & accounting principles focusing on subsidiary accounting, general ledger and cost accounting specificities, processes, as well as IFRS knowledge and finance related legislation;
• Very good knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office;
• Very good knowledge of SAP transactions applicable on department level (SAP FI,CO,MM,AA,SD) and general knowledge of SAP transactions in asset accounting, general ledger, subsidiary and cost accounting area;
• Solid knowledge and understanding of related legislations/norms, internal rules/guidelines, in multiple areas/team level;
• Basic project management skills, typically project team member, ability to lead projects;
• Experience in working in a shared services organisation represents an advantage;
• English language skills advanced.
