About the Project:Megatron is CARIAD’s cloud platform based on Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes, providing infrastructure services for product teams across the Volkswagen Group. It offers self-service capabilities for namespaces, subscriptions, networking, and certificates through the Megatron Experience Portal (MXP) and APIs. The operations team ensures platform reliability, scalability, and security while supporting agile DevOps principles.Activity description:Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of the Megatron platform through Site Reliability Engineering practices.Build and maintain automation for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and incident responses.Implement robust observability solutions (metrics, logging, alerting) to proactively identify issues.Manage and resolve major incidents and service requests according to defined SLAs.Collaborate with platform developers to improve operational processes and enable continuous delivery.Optimize infrastructure for dynamic workloads and high availability.Participate in on-call rotations for critical incidents and provide 24/7/365 support for P1/P2 issues.Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and operational best practices.Technical and process knowledge:Technical & Methodological Skills - Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/OpenTofu) and GitOps (ArgoCD). - Deep understanding of monitoring, alerting, and incident management processes. - Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
