SRE Engineer

Location: Remote (Anywhere in Romania)

Experience: 5–6 Years

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, IAM, and managed services.

Operate and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters, including workload management, networking, autoscaling, and performance optimization.

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management tools such as Ansible.

Own and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, and N8N.

Integrate systems and services using REST APIs and CLI tools.

Implement secure secrets and configuration management practices.

Develop production-grade Python scripts and automation tools.

Monitor platform health using observability tools such as Dynatrace and Elasticsearch.

Design and maintain effective alerting strategies to improve operational efficiency.

Implement and support OpenTelemetry or similar monitoring and tracing standards.

Support emerging AI initiatives, including integration with LLM-based services and AI infrastructure workloads.

Required Skills

Strong experience with AWS cloud services.

Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes administration and operations.

Proficiency in Terraform and/or Ansible.

Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, N8N, and CI/CD pipeline management.

Strong Python scripting skills.

Experience with REST APIs and automation tooling.

Knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing.

Hands-on experience with Dynatrace, Elasticsearch, and OpenTelemetry.

Preferred Skills

Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure and LLM-based services.

Understanding of AI workload scheduling and inference environments.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Experience working in production-critical cloud environments.
