Being a Staff Software Engineer at Tobii, you will:

• Design and develop embedded software libraries and demo applications
• Collaborate with ML researchers to optimize architecture and implementation
• Work with Product Management to define and build proof-of-concept applications
• Support customers in integrating our solutions into their vehicles and test benches
• Travel as needed to support customer projects and demos
  

To succeed in this role, we would love you to have:

• Proficiency in developing embedded applications in C and C++
• Experience with automotive embedded platforms and debugging
• Familiarity with platform-specific optimizations (ARM Neon, DSP, GPU, NPU)
• Experience integrating SDKs into embedded systems
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., Field Application Engineer)
• Willingness to travel based on project needs
  

It’s a plus if you have:

• Experience with camera/imaging sensor integration
• Familiarity with ML-based applications on embedded devices
