Local Statutory Accounting compliance

• Reviews the accounting gaps between USGAAPs and local statutory accounting requirements and designs adjustments to produce the local statutory accounting books.
• Reviews ERP functionality to ensure compliance to Local Statutory Accounting Requirements.
• Implements ERP functionality to optimize the accounting adjustments required to produce the local statutory books.
• Maintains ERP Master Data required to produce local statutory accounting books from adjusting USGAAP primary books.

Local Statutory Financial Reporting compliance

• Prepares the Local Statutory Financial Statements in compliance with local statutory reporting requirements.
• Prepares data extract from ERP and supervise the preparation of Local Statutory Reporting by local service providers including co-ordination of further information requests.
• Circulates all documents with Shareholders for approval.
• Coordinates the process of filing the Local Statutory Statements with the local authorities

External Audit management

• Coordinates all internal functions involved in providing information to External Audit Teams
• Provides accounting information to the External Audit Teams by extracting data from the ERP
• Follows up internally and externally on any issue related to the External Audits evidence or information requested

• University degree with additional accounting qualification required.
• Min 2 years of experience in accounting (local or corporate). Prior experience with a Big 4 in accounting, audit, tax and FMGC experience is a plus.
• Language skills: fluent English
• High learning agility to learn new accounting legislations building on the current expertise to create a specialist support for the business relating to statutory reporting.
• Good knowledge of accounting as applicable to the local business units.
