Strategic Commodity Buyer Mechanical – Global Position
We are seeking an experienced and high negotiation skilled Strategic - Sourcing to join our team.
As a Mechanics Strategic-Sourcing, you will play a crucial role in identifying new suppliers, negotiating price and contracts with them.
Job responsibilities :
Identify and research reliable suppliers for various mechanical parts
Evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, risk and other key performance indicators (KPIs)
Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms
Participate in supplier process audits together with Quality Department to ensure adherence to quality standards
Assist in the development and testing of prototypes, providing feedback on mechanical design and performance
Contribute to design for manufacturability (DFM) efforts to optimize part design for efficient and cost-effective production
Other Responsibilities:
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of parts, suppliers and quality control activities
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to other teams on mechanical parts and related issues
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and process optimization related to mechanical parts
Output:
Contributes to creating a solid base of mechanical suppliers, capable to serve the Cicor core markets – Industrial, Medical and Aerospace & Defense
