As Strategic Procurement Manager for Electrical Engineering, you’ll lead sourcing initiatives and manage supplier relationships to deliver high-value, compliant procurement solutions. Working closely with project teams, you’ll ensure timely and effective procurement across complex infrastructure projects. Team members in Romania provide services to support the team based in Switzerland.

What you will do:

• As Strategic Procurement Manager for Electrical Engineering, you’ll lead sourcing initiatives and manage supplier relationships to deliver high-value, compliant procurement solutions. Working closely with project teams, you’ll ensure timely and effective procurement across complex infrastructure projects.
• Drive strategic sourcing and supplier selection aligned with category and project objectives
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure performance and compliance
• Support project procurement by ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing for key milestones
• Conduct market research and data analysis to identify opportunities and guide procurement strategy
• Collaborate with internal teams to define needs and ensure alignment with procurement policies
• Identify cost-saving and value creation opportunities within your category

What you bring & who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, business engineering, supply chain or related field
• 2+ years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, especially in electrical engineering or infrastructure projects
• Strong communicator and skilled negotiator with a structured, analytical approach
• Proficient in procurement systems (e.g., SAP), reporting tools (e.g., Power BI), and digital sourcing platforms
• Able to prioritize procurement activities under tight project timeline
• German B1-Level and confident in English; other languages are a plus
