Company Description is a multidisciplinary engineering design firm based in Bucharest, with extensive experience in the design of complex structures and infrastructure projects.

Our portfolio includes civil, industrial, agricultural, hydraulic and special structures. We also design deep excavations, retaining systems, complex foundations and other structures involving significant soil–structure interaction.

We provide integrated services covering structural design, technical consultancy, project management, technical assistance and construction-stage support. Our team is involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from concept development and structural analysis to detailed design, execution documentation and site supervision.

Role Description: We are looking for a Structural Design Engineer to join our team in Bucharest. This is a full-time, on-site position.

The successful candidate will be involved in the structural analysis, design and detailing of civil, industrial and special structures, working closely with architects, engineers and other project stakeholders.

Main responsibilities include:

• Performing structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete, steel and masonry structures;
• Preparing structural calculation reports, technical documentation and design specifications;
• Developing and reviewing structural drawings and construction details;
• Coordinating structural solutions with architecture, MEP and geotechnical disciplines;
• Applying national and European design codes and standards;
• Responding to technical queries arising during construction;
• Participating in project coordination meetings and providing technical support throughout the execution stage;
• Contributing to the development of safe, efficient and technically optimized structural solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field;
• Strong knowledge of structural mechanics, structural analysis and reinforced concrete or steel design;
• Ability to interpret and apply structural design codes and technical regulations;
• Experience with structural analysis software such as ETABS and SAP2000;
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, Allplan, etc, with the ability to prepare and review structural drawings and details;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Accuracy, attention to detail and a responsible approach to technical work;
• Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary project teams;
• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• Previous experience in the design of buildings, industrial structures or infrastructure projects is considered an advantage.
