Your work will involve supporting 3rd–8th grade learners around the world to achieve tangible academic gains through belief and mindset rather than direct instruction. You'll set the standard high, cultivate confidence, and make education feel like achievement. Every conversation matters. Every insight you unlock has weight. What You Will Be Doing

• Conducting two 1:1 virtual coaching sessions per week for each student, centered on goal-setting, motivation, and mindset development
• Hosting open "office hours" where students can connect in real time for support, encouragement, or problem-solving
• Leveraging AI tools and progress dashboards to monitor student performance, spot obstacles, and refine your coaching tactics
• Recording insights, concerns, and strategy shifts to keep every student on a path of rapid growth
• Working closely with your team to exchange best practices, flag challenges, and continuously refine the coaching framework

• Delivering lessons, grading assessments, or assigning work—technology handles the instructional side
• Giving lectures or adhering to a rigid curriculum
• Managing unmotivated students through constant oversight—our approach is coaching, not supervision
• Attending excessive meetings or navigating red tape

Success Coach Key Responsibilities
Drive measurable growth and engagement for remote learners by delivering frequent, high-impact mindset coaching within a fully virtual, technology-enabled environment.
Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any field
• At least 1 year of experience coaching, mentoring, or motivating K–8 students
• Demonstrated excellence in any domain—academics, athletics, entrepreneurship, or the arts
• Strong ability to build rapport with students quickly in virtual settings using Zoom/Google Meet
• Comfortable navigating dashboards and technology platforms to monitor and optimize performance
• Able to work at least 70% of hours between 7am–10pm EST, Monday to Friday, to align with U.S. time zones
  

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Experience in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational fields
• Familiarity with homeschool or alternative education communities

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
