Job Summary

As our supplier quality portfolio continues to expand across Europe, we're seeking a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team. Reporting to Quality Director you will play a key part in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance throughout our supply chain. Collaborating with European suppliers, you’ll lead audits, implement corrective actions, and foster continuous improvement to support our manufacturing operations and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of largest suppliers based in Eastern Europe, specializing in welding and forging processes,
• Improve supplier performance through audits and continuous improvement initiatives,
• Implement robust quality systems that align with industry standards and welding-specific requirements,
• Minimize costs by preventing defects, reducing rework, and boosting supplier efficiency,
• Mitigate supplier-related risks to maintain stable production and customer satisfaction,
• Conduct comprehensive audits to ensure compliance and drive improvements,
• Qualify new suppliers who consistently meet quality and delivery expectations.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering,
• 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance and supplier management within international industrial environments,
• Proficient in supplier audits, evaluations, and implementation of quality management systems (QMS),
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control principles,
• Demonstrated expertise in welding, casting, and surface treatment technologies,
• Fluent in English and Romanian,
• Willing to travel 40–60% across Europe to support supplier development and quality oversight.
