ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Supply Chain Controller, you will be responsible for preparing reports and analyses related to the supply chain function, conducting periodic and ad-hoc analyses, estimates, and reports regarding the function's activities, calculating performance indicators, preparing the budget and forecast, and communicating with the recipients of the reports and analyses. You will facilitate the centralization of information related to the logistics function’s performance for the allocated entities within Lactalis Romania Group.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Supply Chain Controller you will:

• Be the main contact for the business unit manager for financial information;
• Ensure complete, accurate, and timely monthly closing, in accordance with Group requirements;
• Report and analyze monthly results, calculating variations between actual results, the budget, and the previous year's results;
• Analyze general expenses by cost centers, comparing actual vs. budget and the previous year;
• Conduct timely and accurate current or ad-hoc analyses and reports, supporting the management team in decision-making, risk assessment, and providing recommendations;
• Work closely with other departments (industrial, commercial, human resources, etc.) to collect, provide, and ensure accurate data;
• Periodically review key financial performance indicators to anticipate potential deviations, allowing the management team to take appropriate corrective actions in a timely manner;
• Explain the elements defining logistics performance compared to forecasts, budget, and the previous year;
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process, meeting deadlines and ensuring the reasonableness of assumptions used in the budget/forecast.

JOB RELATED SKILLS

• Minimum 3 years of previous work experience in logistic cost controlling role;
• Solid understanding of General Accounting and Cost Accounting principles;
• Proficient with MS Office tools (advanced in Excel, including the ability to create, modify and ensure accuracy of complex spreadsheets); SAP financial system background is a plus;
• Responsible person, with good organizing skills and ability to prioritize the activities, ability to work with tight deadlines, analytical thinking, and attention to detail;
• Positive attitude and good communication skills;
• Bachelor/ master’s degree in accounting, finance, or any other related domain;
• Good English; French will be considered an advantage.
