We're hiring — IT Infrastructure Engineer (L2)

At WizardTech, we help organizations run their IT the way it should be: proactive, secure, and well-documented. As a managed IT services provider, we're growing our delivery team — and we're looking for an engineer who wants to own a client environment end to end, not just close tickets.

What you'll do

• Administer and support core infrastructure: VMware vSphere, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365
• Manage backup and recovery (Veeam) and storage (Synology/NAS)
• Look after networking: FortiGate firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi, VLANs and site-to-site VPN across multiple locations
• Deploy, manage and secure endpoints (Windows 11) and support users across several sites
• Run proactive monitoring, patching and maintenance
• Strengthen security (EDR/Bitdefender, MFA, email security), backup/DR and documentation
• Be the hands-on engineer for a key client's infrastructure, equipment and users

What we're looking for

• Solid experience with Windows Server + Active Directory administration
• Virtualization (VMware vSphere / ESXi)
• Microsoft 365 administration
• Networking fundamentals: firewalls, switching, VLANs, VPN
• Backup solutions (Veeam or similar)
• A strong troubleshooting mindset across infrastructure and end-user issues
• Ownership, clear communication, and willingness to travel to client sites when needed

Nice to have (a real advantage)

• Experience with Atera or a similar RMM/PSA platform (NinjaOne, Syncro, Datto RMM, etc.)
• Certifications: VMware VCP, Fortinet NSE, Microsoft (AZ/MS series)
• Previous MSP experience
• Linux basics
