YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and build new solutions for our virtualization platform on Azure
• Consolidate 20+ European data centers into a central cloud infrastructure
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and code-based configuration/change management for reliability and stability
• Collaborate with Cyber Security teams to ensure platform security and compliance
• Act as a consultant for customers to enable smooth cloud migration
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members across Vienna, Salzburg, Bucharest, and Iași
• Support continuous improvement, innovation, and standardization across the platform and infrastructure services

YOUR PROFILE

Technical Skills:

• More than 3 years of professional experience as a System Engineer in Windows & Linux environments.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMWare, Hyper-V) and networking (LAN/WAN, VPN).
• Proficiency in system automation tools such as PowerShell, Terraform, or similar.
• Experience with VMWare-related tools and technologies (e.g., Veeam) is a plus.
• Familiarity with IaaC/CaC pipelines using GitLab is an advantage.
• Understanding of Azure and modern virtualization concepts.

Soft Skills:

• Ability to drive large technical projects and deliver quick customer feedback.
• Strong problem-solving skills and structured work approach.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an international team
