Atradius Collections is a business unit of Atradius Group. Atradius Collections provides efficient, quick and flexible solutions to collect domestic and international trade debts. With a global network of collections specialists, lawyers and insolvency practitioners worldwide, Atradius Collections serves over 15,000 customers, supporting them to reduce client’s trade risks through our efficient Business to Business focused trade invoice collections services such as Standby Services, Invoice Verification and Factoring transactions.
Job Description
As Team Leader you will be responsible for driving and managing delivery of the collection targets in Romania as well as the overall management of staff (2-3 FTE) This is an interesting and varied role for results focused leader willing to also work on domestic / international cases of clients.
Responsible for overseeing and applying collection principles and techniques in the recovery of overdue receivables for dunning, amicable, legal and insolvency phase. Applies recovery routines and procedures; defines tactics that will ensure results, develops formula for maximizing collections and shortens the collections cycle. Uses analyses to identify accounts with a greater tendency to pay. In this role you are involved in the day-to-day activities focused more on International clients and/or specific / complex cases.
In this position your key responsibilities will be:

• Key contact for local stakeholders; Atradius Crédito y Caución (ACI) and lawyers. Responsible for building internal relationships with ACI country manager and Special Risk Manager as well as streamlining service delivery to insured customers in order to increase inflow and revenue.
• You will support activities to increase new business from non-insured customers and segments within with specific focus on channels, shared service and large, multi-national organizations, alongside the Eastern Europe Region management team
• Become a contact point for domestic Romanian clients. This task requires joining meetings and calls and pro-active communication with strategic clients of Atradius Collections. Around 20% of your time will be dedicated building and maintaining good relations with clients.
• Will be responsible for your team responses to customers queries, ensuring a full investigation is completed to answer the customer query in full.
  

Operational:

• You will be handling cases for strategic clients
• To monitor reporting and analysis of MI for the location.
• To drive the delivery of Collections key KPI’s in Romania in order to support sales & account management, improve operational business processes in order to provide optimal customers service
• You will embed global processes and procedures in line with the local requirements as well as localize and implement global program initiatives within the location.
• You will be responsible for building and maintain relations with local lawyers, bailiffs, IP’s including assessment of performance. You will also control operating expense vs budget, including invoices acceptance process
• Assess the cost effectiveness of taking legal action, under SLA agreements with key customers and accept cases for transfer to external lawyers.
• Responsible for the improvement of collection processes and results; reduce time to collection;
• You may become involved in group projects, providing input and local technical knowledge to support the project group.
  

What qualification should you have?
The ideal candidate will have the following profile:

• An experienced collection leader, you will
• You will have excellent organisational and management skills with the proven ability to lead and motivate a team in order to achieve collections targets (collected amounts, SR’s, satisfaction level etc).
• Willing and able to share knowledge and coaching skills in order to motivate and develop your teams to energise them for delivery.
• Strong operational and legal knowledge of insolvency, security, legal and enforcement procedures
• You will have a background in debt collections, credit management, and understanding how our debt collections services can be of value to the related target segments.
• Strong internal working experience in a multinational business service environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and be able to adapt and present messages to different audiences.
• You will be able to analyse and question data, identifying trends and interpreting findings in order to drive business performance.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and achieve deadlines.
• Knowledge of Microsoft packages in particular including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• You will be willing to travel Internationally occasionally,
• Strong academic background or equivalent work experience
• Strong commercial and account management experience is needed
