Requirements

Team Leader MDM (Master Data Management) - Finance Shared Service Center
Bucharest - 2 office days/week
•
Strong knowledge of end-to-end Master Data Management processes and good understanding of their interaction with P2P, O2C, R2R and T&E processes
•
Advanced SAP user skills
•
strong proficiency in Excel and Power Query
•
3-5 years of experience in a similar role, including 2-3 years in a Shared Service Center serving European countries
•
At least 3 years of people-management experience
•
English proficiency (additional European language is an advantage)
•
Excellent people leadership, coaching, communication and collaboration skills
•
Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, conflict-management and prioritization capabilities
•
Accuracy, attention to detail, autonomy and a results-oriented mindset
•
Positive, proactive and flexible approach, with openness to continuous learning and improvement
•
Degree in Economics, Business Management, Finance or a related field

Responsibilities

•
coordinates, mentors and develops Master Data team members, fostering a positive, collaborative and productive work environment;
•
is fully accountable for the performance of MDM activities delivered by the team, ensuring that agreed quality, productivity and SLA targets are achieved :
- ensures the accurate creation, modification, extension, blocking and unblocking of vendor, customer and employee master data in SAP and/or other systems used by Servier
- ensures that master data requests are complete, compliant and properly approved, including banking, tax, organizational and contact information
- coordinates participation in MDM-related UAT activities supporting SAP implementations, upgrades and other platform changes
•
plans and allocates workloads and priorities, monitors operational backlogs and takes timely corrective action;
•
supports the transition of MDM activities from Servier subsidiaries and helps ensure seamless integration and stabilization within SSC operations;
•
implements approved procedures, work instructions and process changes, and monitors team compliance with operational standards;
•
drafts, finalizes and maintains MDM procedures and working instructions;
•
identifies operational issues, coordinates resolution and escalates risks to the Transition & MDM Manager and MDM SME when needed;
•
coordinates operational escalations from internal and external customers and ensures resolution within agreed timelines;
•
identifies and implements continuous-improvement initiatives together with colleagues and relevant stakeholders;
•
cooperates efficiently with subsidiaries, local teams and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations;
•
ensures compliance with Servier policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, data-protection rules and audit controls;
•
prepares regular and ad-hoc reports on MDM volumes, quality, productivity, backlog and overall performance;
•
contributes to recruitment, onboarding, performance management, coaching, succession planning and retention within the team;
•
acts as back-up for the direct manager when required and may serve as the point of contact for subsidiaries during the manager’s absence.
