Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Team Leader Transport who will report directly to the Transport Manager. The Team Leader Transport is responsible for coordinating and optimizing daily transport operations, ensuring the efficient use of fleet, personnel, and subcontractor resources to achieve operational performance targets. This role leads and develops the transport team, oversees real-time transport activities, and ensures compliance with company procedures and transport regulations. This role is based in Str. Virginia, nr.2 Dragomiresti Vale, RO.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and coordinate daily transport operations, ensuring efficient route planning and optimal resource allocation;
• Monitor transportation activities in real time and take immediate corrective actions to resolve operational issues and service disruptions;
• Ensure on-time and in-full deliveries while maintaining high service quality standards;
• Optimize fleet utilization, transportation costs, fuel consumption, and maintenance expenses in line with operational targets;
• Analyze operational performance through KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity;
• Coordinate workforce planning and scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels and operational continuity;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with transport partners and subcontractors, while identifying new partnership opportunities when required;
• Investigate, manage, and resolve customer complaints, ensuring timely and effective communication and corrective actions;
• Prepare and present operational reports, performance analysis, and improvement recommendations to management;

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in transport, logistics, or distribution operations;
• Strong knowledge of Romanian and EU transport regulations, including driver compliance and fleet operations;
• Experience working with Transport Management Systems (TMS), GPS tracking, telematics platforms, and Microsoft Excel;
• Medium English language skills, both written and spoken.
