Lead the engineering of AI bots that are redefining how accountants work.

At Bots For That, we're building the future of intelligent interaction for the accounting profession. We're looking for a Technical & Delivery Lead to own the beanies product stream, our customer-facing, frontend-driven experiences that sit at the heart of the Bots For That platform. This is a senior individual contributor role with real technical authority, where you'll shape architecture, drive delivery, and directly influence the quality of a product used by accounting and bookkeeping firms every day.

What you'll own

• End-to-end delivery of the beanies product stream from sprint planning through release and post-release review
• Architecture, scalability, and long term technical sustainability of the stream
• Translating product vision into clear, well scoped technical work
• Coding standards, review protocols, and QA processes across the team
• Backlog management, prioritisation input, and velocity reporting
• Technical debt identification, observability, and deployment standards
• Hands-on development - this is a senior IC role, not a step away from coding
• Mentoring and technical guidance for the Frontend Engineer and Product Developer
• Cross functional collaboration with customer-facing teams on demos, releases, and feedback loops

What we're looking for

• Proven backend or full-stack engineering experience with a track record of shipping quality product
• Strong frontend skills: HTML, CSS, Tailwind, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Vue.js, React, or equivalent
• Backend proficiency in Laravel/PHP and Python (FastAPI)
• Proven experience building or integrating with MCP servers
• Hands-on AWS experience across ECS, IAM, RDS, and CloudWatch
• Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform / Terragrunt
• Solid grounding in agile delivery, sprint management, Git, and CI/CD
• A strong sense of UX and human centred design
