We are looking for hands-on and experienced Technical Business Analysts to join us in our Bucharest Centre of Excellence. The Business Analyst can be expected to be responsible for cross-functional business analysis and assisting with the orchestration and delivery of projects with the goal of reducing latency while maintaining 100% reliability.
Role and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting in the Business Analysis phase including the capture and translation of business requirements turning these into functional requirements, and non-functional requirements to the developers;
• Analysing end to end business streams to establish data requirements in line with XML/XSD modelling, specifically FpML, of entities across multiple business areas;
• Logical Data Modelling working closely with both business and IT teams;
• Cleaning, mapping and extending data sets to improve business processes and tools;
• Coordination and delivery management of solutions across Enterprise Delivery teams in support of end- to-end testing and product delivery;
• Identification of common data requirements and helping to drive shared data platforms.
  

Is this role right for you?
The ideal candidate will be a Business Analyst with:

• Vendor system and integration work (i.e. Murex, Summit, Calypso, etc)
• Proven track record of supporting Back/Middle Office systems and operating Jira & Confluence
• Proven experience of performing system testing and guiding users for user testing
• Proven experience of full involvement in project life cycles within Investment Banking and have issued resolution through data mining and investigation.
• Excellent data mapping skills and ability to work with databases, especially Mongo DB
• Knowledge on how Agile / SWD lifecycle works
• Knowledge of financial instruments: bonds, equities, interest rate swaps, stock lending and more
• Track record of writing structured business requirements and functional specifications
• Well-structured & logical approach to working and able to handle multiple work streams simultaneously
