We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Technical Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team of 10 engineers and technicians, driving technical delivery, stability, and continuous improvement in the production environment. You will work closely with Production and Quality teams to ensure technical solutions are practical, effective, and fit for day-to-day manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strong technical leadership by developing and motivating engineering and technical teams, acting as a trusted partner on complex technical and organizational issues.
• Set direction, priorities, and resource plans to ensure safe operations, high quality, and reliable delivery aligned with factory and business objectives.
• Own key engineering frameworks, including Engineering Change Request (ECR) processes and design governance, ensuring structured documentation, compliance, and application of the four-eye principle.
• Drive continuous improvement at the factory level, supporting quality performance, supplier development, and production efficiency, including automation and digitalization initiatives.
• Act as a core member of the local management team, contributing to cross-functional decisions and ensuring engineering perspectives support operational and strategic goals.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in a technical leadership/management role.
• Solid experience in manufacturing/production environments, ideally in steel or metal industries.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management methodologies.
• Experience with 3D CAD tools in an engineering environment.
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional proficiency in English and Romanian, both written and spoken.
