🚧 Technical Manager – Major Infrastructure Project (Romania)

We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager to join a leading international construction group involved in one of Romania’s most complex infrastructure and tunneling projects. This role requires strong technical oversight, coordination skills, and the ability to lead design and execution activities across multidisciplinary teams.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the complete design process and ensure alignment with project requirements
• Develop and implement design plans, specifications, and construction methodologies
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, technical standards, and safety requirements
• Collaborate closely with contractors, suppliers, designers, and project stakeholders
• Review and approve technical documentation, identifying risks and resolving design issues
• Monitor construction progress and adapt schedules to ensure timely delivery
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure quality of workmanship
• Prepare and interpret progress reports for senior management
• Manage project quantities and budgets, identifying opportunities for optimization
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and support problem-solving activities
• Address technical challenges during construction and ensure efficient resolutions
• Coordinate the technical office team, ensuring smooth communication and workflow
• Make fast, informed decisions under pressure in dynamic site conditions

🎓 Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, or related field)
• Proficiency in English
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure, with a focus on: Tunnel excavations (TBM & NATM/traditional), Bridge construction, Steel reinforcement works
• Strong skills in AutoCAD 2D (Civil 3D is a plus)
