Job Description
We are looking for a Technical Sales Representative who will be responsible for providing high‑quality technical and commercial support for Fluid Automation Products & Solutions, with focus on Spanish‑speaking customers.
Based in Cluj‑Napoca, this role ensures a positive customer experience by delivering fast, accurate, and compliant technical and sales support while applying company policies.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Handle technical enquiries and Requests for Quotation (RFQs) for the full product portfolio
• Prepare and issue technical and commercial quotations (price, lead time, availability) within Delegation of Authority
• Track and follow up on offers on behalf of the sales force
• Perform technical product equivalencies and cross‑references with competitor products, proposing Emerson alternatives
• Provide technical support for application issues and installed products, ensuring customer satisfaction
• Identify customer needs, generate leads, and support sales opportunities
• Ensure feasibility checks (lead times, documentation, compliance, ITC, pricing policies)
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Service, Product Managers, and Data Quality teams to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Maintain strong product and portfolio knowledge, including new products, updates, and changes
• Provide feedback on customer issues, detect anomalies, and contribute to continuous improvement
• Support and train Customer Service colleagues on product and application knowledge when needed
• Ensure full compliance with Quality, Environmental, and ITC requirements

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Relevant technical knowledge or hands‑on experience
• 1–3 years of experience in customer support, technical sales, or a similar role
• Practical understanding of pneumatic cylinders and valves
• Proficiency in Spanish (C1) and English
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work under time pressure and manage multiple priorities
• Team‑oriented mindset with commercial awareness
  

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience in a technical sales or engineering environment
• Basic knowledge of automation, process control, or industrial applications
• Experience with SAP, Salesforce, MS Office, Outlook
• Knowledge of international trade (Incoterms, payment terms)
