Job Title: Technical Service Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled individual to ensure the operational capacity of our company in the designated region. The role involves installation, commissioning, calibration, parameterization, and optimization of water monitoring equipment, including sensors, flow meters, analysers, and transducers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and optimize potable and wastewater monitoring equipment.
• Provide technical support in collaboration with the Sales and Order departments for project design, budgeting, quoting, and order placement.
• Maintain communication with supplier representatives for diagnostics, training, and factory repairs.
• Monitor daily service ticket status and evaluate weekly progress on assigned tickets.
• Receive tasks and interventions from the Service Manager, follow up personally, and report monthly.
• Schedule service activities at least one week in advance and validate with the Service Manager.
• Demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Customer satisfaction in the assigned area is the key performance metric.
• Follow established procedures and undergo biannual performance reviews with the Service Manager and/or General Director.
• Consult available documentation (service manuals, diagrams, work sheets) and actively seek missing information (online searches, supplier requests).
• Ensure traceability of intervention documentation (e.g., drafting service reports, obtaining client signatures, emailing stakeholders, archiving).

Qualifications and Experience:

• Mandatory technical education, preferably a University degree in engineering (electrical, hydro-technical, industrial automation, mechatronics, etc.).
• Previous experience is a plus but not mandatory – training will be provided both in Bucharest and on-site/online.
• Preferred experience in sensor technology, water treatment, pumping, purification, industrial applications (breweries, automotive, industrial automation, electronics, telecommunications).
• Minimum 2 years of experience; ideally 5 years.
• Strong observational and functional intelligence – ability to analyse and interpret details, identify patterns, draw logical conclusions, and solve problems.
• Advanced written and spoken English is required.
