Role Description
This is a full-time remote position for a Technical Support Engineer – German & English . The role involves providing server support, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring the functionality and security of operating systems and networks, and offering technical assistance to clients in German and English. The professional will focus on maintaining seamless server operations and addressing system-related issues as they arise.
What You Will Do :
- Provide remote support via phone, email, and chat
- Troubleshoot server and application issues
- Work with Windows Server, Linux, and VMware environments
- Handle installation, configuration, and performance issues
- Manage tickets and ensure timely resolution
- Support escalations and collaborate with internal teams
- Deliver a high-quality customer experience
What We’re Looking For :
- 1–3 years of experience in a Technical Support / IT Support role
- Basic knowledge of servers (HP ProLiant, Dell PowerEdge, Lenovo ThinkSystem)
- Basic understanding of Windows Server, Linux, or VMware
- Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Good time management and customer-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
