In Cluj we started in 2009 and our local team currently has 200+ colleagues and is growing.

This position has a strong focus on creating automated non-functional tests and occasionally it implies contribution to developing functional tests.

The test engineer, in this position, will have a major contribution to the development of a safety critical software product utilized in regional or country wide emergency call centers.

Key Tasks

• Contribute to the development of performance testing scenarios based on non-functional requirements, system architecture and reported defects
• Occasionally contribute to the development of automated functional test scenarios
• Collect test results to generate test reports and test summaries
• Investigate test results and raise defects to the appropriate development team
• Learn, follow and aim to improve the software development processes agreed with the rest of the team
• Understand and apply OOP programming principles throughout the development activities for automated tests

Key Qualifications

• Results oriented person – get things done attitude
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on automated testing experience on integrated software systems and some experience with load testing
• Experienced with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
• Experienced with Java. JBehave and Groovy would be an advantage
• Good English knowledge, both written and verbally
• ISTQB certification is an advantage
• IP based communications knowhow (SIP/RTP) is an advantage
