This role sits within a large-scale enterprise digital products organisation operating in the Energy space, focused on developing Edge Computing solutions, cloud-based applications, and industrial software platforms used across power plants and industrial facilities globally.

You’ll be joining a highly collaborative engineering environment working on modern digital solutions that combine Edge Computing, cloud technologies, industrial sensor integration, analytics platforms, AI applications, and digital twin technologies.

Your Role as a Test Engineer:

You will work closely with Product Owners, Technical Leads, Developers, and QA teams to execute and document testing activities across multiple Edge Computing solutions and software releases.

This is a hands-on testing role where you’ll be responsible for ensuring solutions are stable, functional, and aligned to both business requirements and compliance standards.

You’ll play an important role in improving testing processes, identifying defects early, and supporting the delivery of reliable software products within a complex enterprise environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Execute manual testing procedures across Edge Computing applications and software platforms
• Identify, document, track, and support resolution of software defects and bugs
• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and Technical Leads to validate business requirements
• Create and maintain detailed testing documentation for releases and compliance purposes
• Support the improvement and standardisation of testing processes across software development teams
• Validate the stability, functionality, and performance of industrial software solutions
• Use tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, and Postman to manage testing activities and API validation
• Contribute to standards compliance efforts and release quality assurance processes
• Collaborate with globally distributed engineering and product teams

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong experience executing software testing procedures within enterprise environments
• Experience with JIRA and Zephyr for test management and defect tracking
• Experience using Postman for API testing and validation
• Familiarity with bug reporting and defect management tools
• Understanding of software development practices, tools, and release processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to create structured, detailed testing documentation
• Good communication skills, both written and spoken
• Positive, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset
• Experience working within Agile software development teams
