Introduction:

To complete our team, we are looking for a Translator with German language skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate questionnaires in Word, XML, or Excel formats, error messages, internal documents, and back-translate open-ended responses
• Update SDL Trados translation memories and terminological databases to ensure consistency and quality
• Proofread and edit final translated materials, delivering grammatically correct and well-expressed translations
• Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines without compromising quality
• Collaborate with internal teams such as client services, survey programmers, and sales representatives
• Coordinate with external translation suppliers when needed
• Use Microsoft Office suite and SDL Trados as main tools for translation tasks

Your Profile:

• University studies with a focus on translation, or a graduate with strong linguistic skills are nice to have, but not mandatory
• Familiarity with translation management systems and computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools (nice to have, but not mandatory)
• Proficiency in English and in German
• Ability to translate accurately and maintain high-quality standards
• Detail-oriented, thorough, and well-organized
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines effectively
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
