Role Description The Transport Planner at B-Automobile is a full-time, on-site role based in Alba Iulia. The person in this role plans and optimizes daily transport routes, schedules, and loads to ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective freight deliveries. Responsibilities include monitoring shipments, coordinating with drivers and operations staff, resolving route or scheduling issues, and updating transport systems with accurate data. The role also involves communicating with customers and internal stakeholders about delivery times, constraints, and status updates. The Transport Planner will collaborate with colleagues to improve transport processes, use transport modelling and planning tools, and support continuous improvement initiatives in line with company standards and regulations.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Transportation Planning and Transport Modelling, with the ability to design and optimize routes and schedules.
• Experience in Transportation Management and Operations Management, including coordinating daily transport activities and resources.
• Effective Communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with drivers, customers, and colleagues.
• Proficiency with transport management systems, route planning software, and standard office tools (e.g., Excel, reporting tools).
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Ability to work on-site in Alba Iulia, manage time well, and perform under changing priorities or tight deadlines.
• Relevant education in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of European freight regulations and road transport practices is an advantage; experience in automotive or freight sectors is a plus.
