Tasks

• Provide 2nd level support for Windows and Linux virtual desktop environments (VDI), including incident, request, problem, and change management
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VMware Horizon virtual clients for end users
• Collaborate with 1st and 3rd level support teams to ensure timely issue resolution and service continuity
• Provision and configure new virtual desktops using SCCM and Azure-based software distribution infrastructure
• Perform release, patch and update management for virtual desktop environments
• Analyze system and application logs to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues
• Support the stability, performance and availability of the VDI infrastructure and virtual clients
  

Qualifications

• Experience in operating and supporting virtual desktop environments (VMware/Broadcom/Omnissa Horizon View)
• Good understanding of VDI concepts, including provisioning, configuration, patching, linked/cloned desktops, master images, and Group Policies
• Experience with Windows LDAP Directory Services and Active Directory administration (user/group management, access control, and maintenance)
• Hands-on experience with software distribution tools such as SCCM, including application deployment, installations, and updates
• Ability to troubleshoot and support virtual client infrastructure in enterprise environments

• Start: by arrangement - always on the 1st and 15th of the month
