We work with celebrities, professional hairdressers, experts and other authority figures to produce high-performing direct response advertisements.We are now looking for a VSL Video Editor who already has some experience editing direct response e-commerce ads.You do NOT need to be a senior editor with years of experience.We are also very open to talented junior editors who started editing ads like ours within the last 6+ months, already have relevant work to show us, and are hungry to become much better.If you have strong fundamentals, good visual judgment and understand this type of advertising, we will help you improve.You will receive a lot of feedback, clear direction and repeated opportunities to improve your work. If you have never edited advertisements similar to the examples above, please do not apply.What you’ll doYou will be editing direct response video advertisements for Meta and other platforms, primarily longer-form VSL-style creatives.A typical project may include:A 2–3+ minute core VSL5–10 different hooks for the same advertisementMultiple iterations and remakes of winning adsNew versions based on performance dataRe-editing existing concepts with new footage, hooks, pacing or anglesWe currently produce a minimum of 2 new core videos per week, alongside hooks, iterations and remakes.Our volume is high and increasing.You will work closely with our creative team and receive clear briefs, scripts, footage and references.The goal is not simply to make the video look good.The goal is to make people stop, watch and buy.You need to understand things like:PacingPattern interruptsB-roll selectionVisualizing what the speaker is talking aboutCaptions and text emphasisProduct visualizationBefore/after imagerySound designRetention editingDirect response storytellingWhat we’re looking forMinimum 6 months of experience editing direct response advertisementsPrevious experience editing VSLs, authority ads or voiceover-driven e-commerce creativesA portfolio containing work similar to the advertisements we produceStrong understanding of TikTok, Meta and short-form content stylesYou naturally consume TikTok / Reels / social media content and understand modern editing patternsStrong visual judgmentGood understanding of pacing and viewer retentionComfortable working with a high volume of creativeComfortable producing multiple hooks and iterations from the same core videoComfortable receiving direct feedback and quickly implementing changesAble to work independently and consistently hit deadlinesAgain: you do NOT need five years of editing experience.We would rather hire a talented junior with 6–12 months of highly relevant experience, strong taste and a great attitude toward feedback than someone with five years of unrelated editing experience.We care much more about whether you understand this specific style of advertising and whether you can learn quickly.ImportantThis is a high-output performance marketing environment.We produce a lot of advertisements. Videos are frequently iterated based on feedback and performance.Sometimes your manager may send an edit back once or twice because we believe it can be better.You need to be comfortable hearing: “This isn't good enough yet. Let's improve it.” and then immediately getting back to work and making the next version better.This feedback is also a major part of how we train our editors.If you are ambitious and want to improve quickly, you will receive a lot of practical feedback that can make you a significantly better direct response editor.If you dislike revisions, repetitive iterations or high-volume editing, this position will probably not be a good fit.If you enjoy improving creatives, testing different versions and seeing your advertisements generate real revenue, you will probably enjoy working with us.Examples of the ads we createPlease review the Hungarian and Polish Ads Library links above before applying.
