Key Responsibilities
We are actively seeking a Water & Wastewater (w/ww) Process Engineer to join our dedicated group of professionals in our Bucharest office. As a process engineer you would be responsible for:

• Perform water/wastewater process design for water/wastewater treatment systems
• Perform material mass and hydraulic balance across the treatment systems
• Prepare and read Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (PID) for w/ww treatment systems
• Prepare capital and operational expenditure (CAPEX and OPEX) for w/ww treatment systems
• Participate and present process design to clients and beneficiaries
• Participate to treatment system start-up
• Instruct clients’ and beneficiaries’ personnel for treatment system operation
• Travel to job sites for data collection and project implementation
  

Required Skills

• Wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment systems and processes for municipalities and industry
• Wastewater sludge treatment and disposal
• Water distribution and treatment systems
• Hydraulics of water/wastewater systems
• Proficiency in water/wastewater treatment systems computer modeling and simulation software
• Proficiency in hydraulic design software for water/wastewater
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD
• Knowledge of local and international regulations and standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skill
• Ability to work independently, strong interpersonal, negotiating, problem-solving, analytical skills
• Team player, possessing strong communication, planning and organizational skills
• Position language: Romanian
• Foreign language: English (preferred, alternatively)
  

Education And Experience

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Chemical/Environmental Engineering with environmental emphasis
• Master of Science degree in Civil/Chemical/Environmental Engineering with environmental emphasis (preferred)
• 5+ years of progressing process engineering experience
• Holds a valid Driver's License to travel to job sites, meetings and client offices (preferred)
