Role Purpose

Develop technical designs for mechanical installations (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, natural gas, etc.) that meet client requirements, technical standards, current regulations, and company policies, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project requirements, specifications, and preliminary concepts.
• Perform technical calculations for the sizing of mechanical systems (thermal, hydraulic, aerodynamic).
• Create detailed designs for HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning), plumbing (cold/hot water, sewage), fire protection (sprinklers, hydrants, detection), natural gas, and other mechanical systems.
• Select appropriate equipment and materials based on performance, cost, and availability.
• Prepare diagrams, routing plans, execution details, and bills of materials.
• Draft technical reports, specifications, and other project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Romanian and European technical standards and regulations (SR, EN, P118, I5, NP086, etc.).
• Collaborate with other departments (architecture, structural, electrical) to ensure optimal project integration.
• Provide technical support and consultancy to execution, procurement, and bidding teams.
• Respond to implementation and execution teams’ requests for clarification.
• Stay updated on new technologies, equipment, and materials in mechanical installations.
• Organize and archive project documentation, ensuring version control.

Working Conditions

• Full-time schedule, with possible adjustments based on project needs.
• On-site, hybrid, and remote work, preferably based in Cluj.
