Senior ServiceNow Developer - Contract

Location: Romania (Remote) - Must be based in Romania

Schaeffler is a global technology leader serving automotive, aerospace, and industrial partners worldwide. We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to support platform expansion and deliver high-quality enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Serve as SME for complex issues, platform troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Lead end-to-end implementations across ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, SPM, and other core modules.
• Mentor developers and support DevOps teams on best practices and technical delivery.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Build and maintain integrations using APIs, MID Servers, and enterprise connectors.
• Support upgrades, patches, performance tuning, and risk mitigation.
• Implement automated testing frameworks (e.g., ATF).
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure security and compliance alignment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, API, and integration skills.
• Deep platform knowledge across ITSM/ITOM/ITAM/HRSD and related modules.
• Experience with REST/SOAP, JDBC integrations.
• ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CIS) preferred.
• Strong ITIL, DevOps, and Agile understanding.
• Proven problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
