Team Leader Pre-Assembly

Do you like to lead a team and work with productions activities in an international environment, at high standards?

We are “GDELS” - a Europe based business unit of General Dynamics Corporation, with products range from wheeled armored and tracked combat vehicles to amphibious bridges and ferry systems, with people all around the world relying on these systems and services, and we welcome you as Team Leader Pre-Assembly, located in Bucharest!

To perform daily tasks, it is important that:

* you are able to identify specific problems and propose solutions

* you are able to follow the standards and regulations

* you take feedback into account and work with other people in order to get the results

* you have a medium level education or professional school in manufacturing vehicles/ machines / automation

* you know English Level A2 or above (language level certificate will be requested)

* you work with operating computer programs such as SAP (production modules), MS Office and any other software that is standard within the industry

* you have a driving license category B and preferable also C

There is a great advantage if:

* you have minimum 5+ years' experience in leading a blue-collar team (planning daily activities, giving instructions to employees, controlling execution, insure that defined standards are achieved and required controls are performed, solve or escalating problems)

* you have skills in reading drawings and technical instructions (understand how to implement)

* you have experience in working according to processes and implementing quality standards (ISO 9001 and AQAP)

Here are your most important tasks, among others:

1/ you are in charge of a team of five, provide leadership and line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring any issues, and ensuring production targets and quality standards are met to meet the requirements of the customer

2/ you are planning daily activities, train and giving instructions to employees, controlling execution, insure that defined standards are achieved and required controls are performed, solve or escalating problems

3/ you cooperate with internal interfaces

4/ you are ensuring occupational safety measures are observed and installations are ready for operation

5/ you are collaborating in the team, optimizing production resources, assuring quality according to regulations

6/ you are finding spontaneous, practical masking solutions

7/ you are controlling the flow of material to various internal departments
